Dave Ma & Delphic

This is the video for Delphic's song 'This Momentary' which was shot at Chernobyl. From this video, we can see the artistic visual style that Dave Ma is accustomed to, creating a documentary style visual montage with an innovative and artistic edge. The video for 'This Momentary' was not aiming to capture the destruction of the Chernobyl disaster, but more the habitation that still surrounds the village of the area of Chernobyl, Ukraine, yet the video cannot help but possess a gloomy and melancholy effect.
The music video for 'This Momentary' has been nominated for three UK Music Video Awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Telecine.

This is another one of Dave Ma's videos with Delphic for the single 'Halcyon'. Again, we can see the montage style of which Dave Ma uses, creating a realism in his shots. This video was shot at a slate quarry in Wales, with shots of women dancing, wearing robes and playing instruments made by the surroundings and natural materials. This was the idea that Dave Ma attempted to capture, using the title of the song 'halcyon' (meaning peace and tranquility) and finding this visual metaphor for that term.
